URC Round 5 takeaways | A torrid 0-4 return for SA, but Lions and Stormers show promise
The double-World Cup winner joined Ulster from the Stormers and he
officially reported for duty with his new club on Monday.
Kitshoff, 31, captained the Stormers to back-to-back URC finals, winning the
2021-22 title against the Bulls in the final before losing the showpiece match against Munster last season.
Kitshoff could make his Ulster debut on Saturday when they travel to Scotland to face Franco Smith’s
Glasgow Warriors.
The Irish giants are third on the URC table after winning four of their first five matches this season. Glasgow Warriors are second, also with four wins from five, but boast two more bonus points than Ulster.
